Having had the pleasure of working as Chairman and investor in a company where Edwin was CEO, I can emphatically comment on his capabilities on a first-hand basis. KCG is widely recognized as the largest privately held cyber security services firm in the Federal market with annual double-digit growth since starting the company in 2000. Our new business capture rate is above industry average and we have never lost a re-compete in 10 years of business. We are in a great market with stable customers and a very talented workforce. But as we continue to progress to another stage in KCG’s life, we felt it necessary to re-examine certain aspects of our business, and we selected the 9Lenses Assessment tool for this purpose. As a businessperson I know, ignoring the weaknesses will not foster continued long-term growth and increased enterprise value of KCG. We look forward to measuring our results and assessing the company again, through 9Lenses. Not only are the results of the 9Lenses Assessment on KCG noteworthy, the entire 9Lenses process to achieve the deep dive analysis into KCG was straightforward and uncomplicated. There was no labor investment required to accomplish the 9Lenses Assessment. In the past, we’ve used the well-known consulting firms to analyze the company and provide us an assessment. It was intrusive and invasive on everyone’s in the company’s time, took far too long for results, and the amount of time KCG had to educate the consulting firm on our business was enormous. Not to mention the results were mostly what we told them versus what they analyzed and identified. The price for the baseline assessment as well as monthly licensing is a tremendous bargain.
